I made this for the best man in my wedding last fall. His bike was a 'bike of the day' on here a month or so ago and I though it would be cool to make him a replica toy. I ended up making 2 for my little brother and another for friend with a RMZ because the Dungey 1:6 toys were on sale hahahah.

A local racer here in Michigan does graphics, and did my buddies full size stuff so we just shrunk it down to fit. The seat cover and a lot of plastic was painted with craft supply paint from Hobby Lobby

Nice job! FYI if you're into doing more of those, Hobby Lobby(if you have one up there) has model CRFs and KXFs that you can build yourself. They may have RMZs and YZFs, but I personally only saw the Hondas and Kawis on the shelf.

You should make them for people on here. I bet you some of these guys would give you $100 for a custom replica of their own bike..

Thanks! It would be so hard to do for random people. My graphic guy already had the design and just shrunk it down, so if we had to make new graphics every time IDK if $100 would be enough!!!!

Nice! I know how hard it is and how much time it takes to finish one, as I made a couple Ken de Dycker 2013 Replica's for Big K himself. I made the design with illustrator, printed it with a regular inkjet printer on sticker paper, and cut it out with a little stanley knife. Also made the design of the box to match with the original Dungey, Roczen & Musquin replica's.

Yes, the box is made the exact same way. Takes some hours to finish one scale model but it's worth the time when you see the result in real life.

Thanks everyone who likes it :-)

How did you get the size to fit the bike when making in illustrator?
I took the real life KTM templates and scaled them down with a scale of 1/12. Fits pretty good!
