That was a really really cool interview. I don't think I've ever seen RV more relaxed and happy to do an interview like that. For me it shows that he is enjoying the GP life, and so he should

The most honest interview Ive seen from RV in years, He is always very careful with his words, but it seemed like he was more concerned with what he wanted to say than he was with what he wasnt supposed to say.

That was great.

I'm really happy for him and hope he continues to enjoy the journey. We've seen him win plenty of times and not be happy. I would rather have slow and happy RV than to see him win but just be disconnected or over it and not having fun.

Yeah, that was a great interview for sure. His whole demeanor seems different compared to when he was racing over here.

Cool interview seems pretty chilled.

Also happy that he was calling his rivals by there name and not just referring to them as 'those guys' which I noticed he was saying at the start of the season. I hope ryan isn't injured so we can see so,e more action from him, I think he's going to kick some ass at matterly

RV mentioned that when he first arrived to the races, he didn't really know anyone in the paddock aside from AC and may one or two others. It is good to see he knows his competition and gives them the respect they deserve.

It's been said time and time again, but the amount of testing, resources and effort that have been dedicated to RV this year, he should've done a 2 year stint. One year to get the swing of things and compete for a top 5 and the next year to have a strong chance at the championship and really end his career on a good note knowing he and the team gave it their best. This one and done deal makes it seem like it's full effort from the team and one foot out the door for RV. I'm sure he's putting in the best effort he can for the team, but it's the perception and that kind of bums me out with his one year only GP campaign.

Great interview, thanks. I also noticed this one from Ryan Hughes which I had never seen. It's early in the season but he seems relatively spot on. (This was from sometime last fall)

Wow, I agree with RY4N37 and Zracer. This thread is most amazing. Good interview from RV.

He would have less stress the way that American supercross and media isn't really a fun thing to be around, you could sees.it in Ryan's face for years.

What a gentleman. Impossible not to like him. He is a brave man to leave everything he knows and take this challenge.

Just watched the RV vid... He looks really happy and relaxed to me. Obviously before the loop out but I haven't seen him so casual in competition during an interview since he was on 250s... Pretty cool, looks like he is enjoying it!

So let me see if I have this right. Ryan is using Bluetooth, and calling his mechanic on his cell phone saying something like, "See, when I land, the ass end kicks me like THIS, and I hit a tree. Do you suppose we need to back off the rebound a little? Hey, you could put the phone down and help me pick my bike up."
