RIP Georges Jobe

Sad to hear this....He will always be a motocross hero!

Fantastic turn out of GP riders, family and fans to honour Georges Jobe at his funeral in Retinne Belgium, Thursday Dec 27th. Honour guard of all his old GP riders/mechanics etc paid their final respects, with over 25 FIM World Motocross titles amongst them.
I was able to meet his daughter Maite and son Vic and pass on our condolenses from his many many fans worldwide.
Godspeed Georges 1961-2012 mon ami.

George's funerals made national TV in Belgium.

Tells a lot about George's legacy, of course, but also about what Motocross represents in that country.
