Here is our recap from RC's summer trip to Europe, 10 Days in total and 4 countries! Sony ActionCam edits coming soon!
Riding the success of the RCU at Red Bud the crew packed up and headed overseas for the next rounds of the RCU and some other great events! The trip started in Copenhagen (First time for RC to ever be in Denmark) for the grand opening of the new Fox Nordic showroom and offices. The Fox Nordic guys were great and welcomed RC and Jeff Emig with open arms. About 150 dealers and Fox friends attended the event. RC and Fro were joined by Brian Jorgensen who would also be a guest instructor at the Sweden RCU.

The next day was scenic drive into Sweden as the crew headed to Uddevalla for the RCU event. Along the way we made 3 Suzuki/Fox dealer visits and had huge turnouts at each location. RC and Fro signed autographs and also took pictures with every fan who came out to meet them. Once at the the track the team met back up with Brian and also Jeff Stanton.
Saturday it was time for the first ever RCU in Sweden. This was also RC's first ever trip to Sweden so were weren't sure what to expect. Fortunately the weather was fantastic and the students were enthusiastic and we all had a great day on the track riding and learning.
After the graduation ceremony and BBQ the team hung around with the riders and their families taking pictures and signing autographs then sat around to watch the MX National from Milllvillle.

The next day it was off to Belgium for Stefan Everts Charity race and the next stop on the RCU tour. The weather on Monday wasn't ideal for race conditions but that didn't stop the 10k fans from coming out to see the US riders and current GP stars. This was the 9th year Stefan has put on this race and the money goes to some great causes. The format isn't your typical race event. First is a super pole to pick your qualifying position followed by a last man standing race and then a team race with a cyclecross rider and a moto rider (I don't think the bicycle guys were too happy with the rain lol.) then a pit stop race where you have to come in a the rider has to change his rear tire! RC won the pit stop race but more importantly the charities were the real winners as Stefan raised more money this year than in any of his previous year's events.

After the race is was straight to the Netherlands for the 2015 RM-Z450 press intro for the European media. The previous nights rains made the Valkenswaard track less than ideal but RC went out and cleaned off the mud for the press and in the end the 16 magazine test riders had a great morning riding with RC!

Following that event on the way back to Belgium RC, Fro and Stanton made a stop to check in on Joel Roelants who recently suffered a traumatic spinal injury and the boys surprised him with a visit to hopefully lift his spirits. I think we were all pleasantly surprised to see how much progress he has already made and his great attitude towards the future. We ended the day with an awesome BBQ at Stefan's house.

Back in Belgium it was time for the last 2 RCUs of the season at the Genk track. Once again great weather and perfect track conditions got the event off on the right foot and all the students were really excited to be there for the school. Everts Joined RC and his regular instructors making a combined 36 Championships on the track, the most RC has ever assembled and we are pretty sure the most ever assembled for a MX riding school ever!
The second day was as good as the first and the weather was perfect and so was the track so that helps make for a great event!
