Sad to report that we lost another member of the dirt track community this weekend at Rd. 3 of the American Flat Track Series in Charlotte, NC. The very talented Jamison Minor was involved in a multi-rider accident exiting turn two on the first lap of the Pro Singles Main and later succumbed to the injuries he sustained. Please keep his family and friends in your thoughts. I have also included a link for anyone that would like to send donations to help his family with end of life expenses. Thank you and Godspeed Jamison.

Jamison and I spent two years travelling the country with the xiir.org series. He always beat me on the dirt tracker, and we would often battle on the speedway bikes. Jamison was one of the most humble and safest riders to ever strap on a helmet. Godspeed 27u

Very sad. That makes three in the last six months. AFT needs to take a real hard look at things.

RIP #27u.

What exactly do they need to look at? Dirt track has always been the deadliest form of motorcycle racing next to the Isle of Mann, that's a very real and unfortunate truth.

Such a bummer to hear of this. RIP #27U

I would love to see the AFT series get proper onsite medical services like the MX/SX series' Alpinestars unit. From what I heard they had Jamison up and walking before getting air lifted out. I know its crazy expensive $$$ but 3 riders in 6 months... not good.

Been a rough stretch for sure. Didn't know of him, but sad to hear nonetheless. Prayers for the family

I honestly didn't know flat track was that dangerous.

Track prep at Charlotte was a joke. Santa Rosa last year, lost two in one day, separate crashes. Peoria left one in a chair for life. The rider numbers are at all time lows, and lucky if they get 5000 fans per event.

AMA/DMG swerved around last years fiasco's by rebranding the series with the AFT label. If a review of the last six months activity is not in order at this point, God help the riders.

RIP #35L, #99A , & #27U.
