Did you ever ride the husky 570? I know Everts did.
I have a chance to pick one up super cheap, maybe has 10 hrs on it.

What did you think about it?

yeah,raced one for 2 years.

prolly the most fun bike i ever had. It was the 2000 tc610 which is a 570

4 speed tight ratio,do 65ish in 1st stock gesring.

wheel base iscabout 3 inches longer than my cr 250 husky.

after the 1st year ferracci sent me all the goodies that max it out, holy shit it ripped.

ever time i got on it my heart would just pound from what was coming. i used his oxy fuel also.

use one gear all the way around muddy creek pretty much. check out the tranny ratios at how close they are.

if you could find a set of the 50 mm marochi forks they beat the 45s big time.

hammer solid engine, long stroke compared to todays stuff, thats what made it so fun, like my john deeres.

the tank seat area got better on the newer ones.

what year? right when they were going to really roll the town washed away in italy in like 02 or 03

Don't expect it to feel like a current 450 and you'll love it. I have a 1990 510 in an 02 chassis with the later 07 TE 610 plastic. Like Hillbilly said, it's a tractor. Produces the same smile as a 2 stroke.

You can put the later side plates and fender on it pretty easy, I don't know if it's a direct fit or not because I had already hacked up my subframe to put KTM plates and rear fender on before I said fukit and ordered the 07 stuff like this.

i test rode bikes for a kiwi magazine and got to ride TC610 in 2000, it was a wicked bike, as hillbilly says, you could do most mx tracks in a single gear, it was so different to ride than a 350 2 stroke that i was racing at the time, but once you new how to ride them, they could be very quick around a mx track

Darryll King had a factory one down here for a few seasons when he was racing them in 500 gps, it was only a 3 speed, i never got to ride it but those who did raved about it,

$492 but you could probably get Dwayne to come down to the smokies for a month after ironman and hitch a ride out west with him as long as roscoe don't mind giving that front seat up and stay untill Monday afterwards and fly back to Knoxville for $400

I want to race Hillybilly on equally prepped TM400 Suzukis. The question is: Does anyone have two of them in the direct vicinity of Muddy Creek? If not, anything with lots of power, no brakes, no suspension, and a metal gas tank will suffice.

I worked for Chad Ward from 02-04ish right before I worked for Maestro Suzuki. You must be a pretty good rider because he was pretty fast back in the day!!
