I have tried on IE, Chrome, and Mozilla Fiefox, but I still cant run the videos. The vids run on the other sites, and also You Tube. What type of player is it, and maybe I need a plug-in for it? Thanks in advance, for any relevant answers.

Guy B or Scottie, possibly any ideas? I do have a slower DSL feed being out in the country, but like I said the other videos feed fine, especially YouTube.

Okay...just asking because I can't watch videos or even post sometimes if my blocker is on.

Where would I look to see if I have an ad blocker? And if I do how do I turn it off?

What are you using to try and view? PC? Phone? What version? What browser? ...there's a ton of variables. You should know if you added an ad blocker. If you're using a browser you could also have extensions you've added that are creating the issue.

I use Firefox on my PC and here is the ad blocker icon on the top right that I can enable/disable:

Clear your browser's cache/cookies and then try again. Sadly, I can't help much further than that. Tongue This is a question for one of the site's developers.

What version of Firefox? I'm on 49.0.1
The videos are HTML5 based so you need to be fairly updated with your software (...and hardware helps too...lol)

I have the latest version 49.0.1
I updated all the video plug-ins for flash, real player and any others that needed to be updated.
Videos still don't play. What's weird to me is why it only happens on Vital and Instagram.
youtube, RacerX, Transworld, MXA, vimeo and all other websites I can view videos.

That makes it harder to figure out. Have you tried to clear your cache:

Firefox/Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"

...and cookies for the affected sites

Ok I just cleared the cache as you described. Closed firefox, then opened a new browser window and logged on to Vital.

Tried to view the first impression video of the new Honda and the Roczen video and still can't view them.
Clicked on Social Scoop and tried to watch one of the instagam videos and they don't work.

Thanks for your help.

To anyone experiencing this - please let me know if the same issue occurs when viewing a video at the lowest possible quality setting (SD).

Also, please let me know if you experience the same issue on this video.

Thanks.

Aaron

I tried to watch the Ohlins video with the same result. All I get is a black screen where the video should be playing.
Since I can never get a video to load I have no way of knowing if they play at the lower setting. The Polaris ad in the sidebar plays just fine if that helps any.

Thanks for looking into this for those of us who are having a problem.

I tried to watch the roczen video at monster mountain, turns out I also can't get the videos to work. I'm on a Sony experia z3 using chrome. Can run all kinds of videos no problem but not the vital player.

XP is likely your issue as I'm pretty sure neither Chrome nor Firefox offer support for that OS anymore (hell, not even Microsoft does AFAIK). My work computer still runs XP and I can't watch most videos on it in Firefox. Chrome sometimes works though, which is weird

I don't know about chrome but Firefox still offers support for xp. I just updated all my plug-ins to make sure that wasn't the problem.

Hi MXBREWSKI - could you tell us what operating system you are using? We're trying to find any similarities between users experiencing this issue.

I have provided some suggestions on this thread that are recognised solutions to video playback issues in Chrome and Firefox; http://www.vitalmx.com/forums/About-Vital-MX,18/Video-still-wont-play,1…
11/7/2016 12:28pm
Can anyone still experiencing video playback issues please confirm the following:

1. What OS (Operating System) they are using
2. Which web browsers the issue occurs in

Any additional information such as what you see, or even better screenshots, would be much appreciated.

Many thanks.

Hi, sorry just saw this.
Windows 10, and I have tried on Chrome, Firefox, IE, they all do not play it so I figured an software issue
I just get a screen that says initializing when I try to play the videos
I am reviewing you other links for answers, and I will get back to you if I find a solution there. Thx
