Product Testers Wanted!
All right, here’s the deal…we're on the hunt for testers to help expand our product reviews in the Product Guide.
If you’ve ever wondered how you could become a tester for a motocross media outlet, this is one of those opportunities: a chance to offer your knowledge and experience in exchange for having your voice heard…and some cool schwag, of course!
But we’re not just going to start handing out goodies and hope we get some feedback. Nope, we want riders who are experienced on the track, have decent mechanical skills, a good seat-of-the-pants dyno, and can both write and take quality photos. Does this sound like you?
Here’s how you can show us your skills:
Option #1:
Bike Check
We’ve been pumped on the participation so far. If your bike has ever been chosen as Bike of the Day, it’s for good reasons: 1) You take pride in your machinery; 2) You have a basic understanding of photography; 3) You can follow simple instructions and prompts to fill in the appropriate information.
If you have already done a Bike Check, fire us over an email so we can check it out.
Option #2:
Experience
Along with decent riding ability and experience, like Bike Check, we need guys and girls who can write a few paragraphs and explain the pros and cons of different products. Yes, it helps to be a fast rider, but it is more important to be able to convey your experience to an audience. Once again, a basic understanding of photography is very helpful (we can’t use blurry images).
Do you have any prior work, reviews, or examples to show us? Drop a link on this thread or email bolukotun@vitalmx.com.
Keep in mind, this not a contest. If we like what we see, then we’ll let you know. Also, for all of you who are snowbound at the moment, don’t worry. We value the input of riders from different regions. This is all about participation, not exclusivity.
Let’s see what you’ve got!

Here is the link to a Bike Check I did recently. http://www.vitalmx.com/community/Cajun-Kamikaze,39490/setup,39745
I have quite a bit of experiences and a decent resume. Spending the last 5 years writing and managing proposals for DoD, DoS and International NGO projects have honed my writing skills.
I'll send an overview outlining more detail to your email addy.
Because we have the worst sand tracks here in Holland to properly test the parts.

The most recent writing I've done was a ride impression of the 2014 KTM XC-W lineup, which can be seen on papermoto here:

I'm passionate about the sport and I'm capable of conveying my opinions through writing. I look forward to hearing from you!
Thanks,
