There's a new French company out there called Freegun and they make, well, underwear....and some other stuff, but primarily underwear.

Why am I bringing this up? Well, they are supporting MX and quite a few racers, like Mike Alessi, and it's damn good stuff.

It's like super thin cycling shorts without the chamois or terry pad. When you first put them on, you'll think they're too small, but after a few minutes it feels like you're wearing nothing, they literally feel like they become part of your skin. They're super light and thin and also wick away moisture, so your nads aren't all sweaty....no Schweady Balls

Best part for racers is that you have full movement because they're skin-like, they're glass smooth so they do not snag or are rough inside your pants, they're thin and light and wick away sweat, making you feel cooler, while giving your nads full support.

I never really thought of underwear for racing, but these guys have done their homework.

I have nothing to do with them, but bought some in Germany and I am impressed.
They are available in the US, I did see a display at the MEC and didn't "get it," but after trying them on, I get it now

Look them up

They also have a clothing line, but I think it's about time someone thought about a decent pair of sports underwear for moto

Don't they sponsor Ashley Fiolek?

Jockey midway brief FTW. Same concept, but without the killer skullz. Even comes in mesh "vented" for the Summer.

Did not know that
They're good shit

I realize it's an unusual product to discuss, but from wearing them, I think they're perfect for moto because you do not even know you're wearing them, it's like 2nd skin

I've tested a few pair myself. Good stuff. Some of them have rather unique graphics, and they're changing designs all the time. Smile

Well, some are just plain ugly, but the American Flag one is kind of cool and I got a pair with rubber duckies, so that's cool also

But yeah, some are pretty funky

Do they make them in a thong so I don't show panty lines in my riding pants?

I always thought they were kinda gay until a friend of mine convinced me to get a pair of Under Armour.

It's all I wear now.

I have bought several pairs of them, and love them. I wear the Under Armor, ones also. The Freegun run a size smaller than the Under Armor in my opinion. The wife digs them too.

The Freegun sizing is a bit odd
I got my first ones in medium, and I swear that the first time I put them on, I thought they were smalls...they just seemed so small
But once on, they're comfortable and the band was fine, no digging.
I was told if you try to buy larger, that's when they ride up some, so they're supposed to be tight fitting to give you that "second skin" fit.

I just bought a pair to show support for their stepping up to cover the shipping cost on the Cooler auction.

Only temporarily, which I've found isn't always such a bad thing.

If they are tight and slippery like Under armour or biking shorts that's a no go. Slippery underwear + nylon liner in MX pants + gripper seat cover + acceleration = pants around your knees and ass in the breeze.

So better venting!!!

Seriously though do they hold the boys outta the way when riding and when in street clothes will the legs ride up into yo crotch and will the jewels stay in place??? .I hate those jockey or Hanes etc cotton ones...they bunch in the crotch... I ride in the bicycle shorts...chamois (sp?) helps with monkey butt for me

If you want to try Freegun and make your own judgment please use the "FREEMX" coupon code at check out. It will give you 20% off your order. It's right we run a little bit small but we corrected our size chart on the website.

Thank you for the love (or not). :-)

I ride for Freegun and can honestly say they are great on and off the track. On the track, they stay in place and are super comfortable. Don't notice them at all. The band on the top doesn't dig into you or anything. Very satisfied. They will only get better and better!

Hello all,

I know this is a really old post but I figured I'd ask here rather than start a new topic. Anyways I am curious if Freegun still sponsors the Pulp MX Show because I don't see them as a sponsor on their site anymore. I would really like to use any sort of discount I can, although I will end up paying retail if nothing works out. I own two pairs of Freegun and the stuff is great. But wondering if anyone knows about sponsorship or discounts, really want to help support the company and get the name out more, it is really comfortable. Emailed and called and didn't get any responses Sad Anyways thanks to anyone who is willing to help out or let me now any info. Maybe "Lebig" Stephen Legrande will see this... Also the discount codes previously posted do not work.

Thanks,

Luke
