Privateer Hondas???

Since switching from Hondas to Jgr and H&H, Gavin Faith and Kyle Regal have not done anywhere near as well. They went from fighting for top 10's to fighting to qualify for mains. Can it be anything but the bikes???
Maybe they just don't suit their individual styles...

not making excuses for Gavin, but he only had 1 day of riding that yamaha. he's been on Honda's for over 12 years. plus going from production suspension to the good stuff is a HUGE difference in itself. He was riding monday and will be today. He'll be ready in Salt Lake.

He would have been in the main if Wey didn't take them both out!!

In terms of Regal he has never been that strong in SX. He makes mains but has generally been a 10-15 place guy on the L&M and Valli Yamahas. On top of that he was coming off a dislocated and broken hip before signing on with H&H.

Agreed. If Wey hadn't bonered out and took himself and Gavin down with him...it would have been a different story. You'll see Gavin in the top 15 in SLC
