What do you guys think? I think he will have a hard time and finish outside the top 15. That would be kind of normal, because of the fact that Chad didn't race a lot of outdoors the last few years. But You never know with great riders like him.

I say 7th overall. So so first moto, but a good start in moto 2 and a decent finish.

Of course I may be talking out my ass too.

Agreed.

Never know. He's a pretty good mud rider if it gets ugly. I don't think he'll ride over his head and take a chance on getting hurt. 12th.

Ever look a shark in the eye???

Somewhere around 10th O/A is my guess.

Also, he will be chasing a "feeling" on the bike throughout the day.

I'd say he's got a top 10 in him. Definitely top 15. I'll admit back in his 125 days I thought he was a bit of a prima donna, but he has proved me wrong (what a surprise). He's a bad dude, I'm a fan

Like to 'think' top 5 could be possible, if not then certainly top 10.

Difficult to call really, can see why people think he may not get such high results but there again can see him doing what Chad Reed seems pretty good at and that is often surprising people when they may have written him off. Me being one of those people I must admit on more than one occasion.

I can't see him top 5' Gajser, Febvre, Cairoli, Desalle, Nagl, Paulin, Bobreshev, Van Horebek, Searle and Simpson at their home GP top ten will be a stretch, looking forward to seeing him and I hope he goes well but will be up against guys on their regular bikes, pitting from their own trucks, teams etc on a track they all know.

Mud is a real lottery though and I'm 2 hours north and we have had a lot of rain the past 3/4 days with more inc flash flooding forecast.

If it is going to be a mudder, is Chad known for being good in the mud?

Top 10.
Imo he'll end up somewhere between place 10-15. Might appear as weak for Reed to some, but there are some heavy hitters in the top 10. Gotta respect Reed for doing this though, awesome for the European fans to see him back where it all started Cool

Yea- I didn't mean to quote your post either in my previous post.

Great having him (Chad) over to do some GP's though, its got to make it more interesting, whatever his results.

More GP riders to USA also would be excellent and was good to see Shaun Simpson last year in the US.

I'll guess 12th overall. Reed is coming in against guys in full on outdoor mode while he is basically coming off of the couch. His bike set up will probably be an issue as well.

Edit: No idea why I'm quoting someone here?

Is "not good" a legit answer?

I don't think he will touch the top 10. Still have much respect for him, but I don't think he has any outdoors left in the tank. I hope he proves me wrong.
