Yesterday at Happy Ramblers in PA, a fellow brother in mx and one if my good buddies Keith Gilliam #218 had a crash that has resulted in a broken T5 & T6 as well as several broken ribs. He's just out of surgery and there was some damage to his spinal cord. The doctors do not know yet what the effects are going to be as the next 48-72 hrs are crucial. Once swelling has gone down, they should have a better grasp. Please keep Keith and his family wife Missy, sons Cody and Cory in your thoughts and prayers. I'll try to update as more info comes out.
The Shop
Went to Hersey Medical last night to see Keith. He was still pretty out of it with all the meds. We got there at nurse shift change and got to witness the new nurse administer some various tests. The good news is that he has feeling in his legs. He couldn't push as well with the right as the left but he could move it! He was in a lot of pain and the nurse said to think of the pain as a good thing because it could be worse and not feel anything. Hopefully by the end of the week, he will be moved to a rehab facility. Thank you to all those who haved sent thoughts and prayers!
