rib injury, apparently.

You knew there would be a lot dropping out of this.

Good it's nothing serious. The fans needs him (and all the others) healthy for A1. This race means nothing.

That sucks! hopefully not serious and he's all healed up and dialed for A1....or MEC if he's doing that.

See I am the complete opposite, I'd rather see him compete in this race than on the line at A1, but then again, I cant stand SX. I am sure his team would rather have him on the line at A1 though.

You don't pay his bills either.

Do the people who "can't stand" SX watch it, or is it complete abstinence from professional racing for them until the first GP of the year?

I certainly prefer outdoors to SX, and would be fine if every SX round yielded to an outdoor race, but I love motorcycle racing of any kind.

Yeah, this place is a rich source for unintentional self-satire

Missing this race is too bad for us but no big deal.

I really like his fit with this team and the Husky bike.

Its his decision to make if he is injured. Would love to see them all here but some wishes never come true.

And I would love to see only 10 SX races and 10 MX races and a 4 rounds Trans AMA type series with 2 rounds in America and 2 in Europe.

Yep two in the U.S , two in Europe then the final alternating between New Zealand and Australia every year.

It is only Logical to have the decider on neutral territory Smile , though a little tough on the Aussie and Kiwi contenders that will have four races overseas Smile

took the words outta my mouth. Well said FTE.

By the time Moto is almost over im ready for SX, and then after the 250 East guys go a few rounds im ready for outdoors.

Amazing how many people are on the CP bandwagon now that he's racing here in the States, and doing well...when even two years ago he was pretty much hated by everybody and called "arrogant"...probably as much by me as anybody. Oh well.

I think Pourcel is doing the right thing by laying out of the USGP, and giving himself the time to heal and get ready for the grind of the SX season here. It's been a long time since he's done it...and never on a 450, so I'm sure he and the team want him to be 100% and happy when A1 rolls around. Plus...what would he gain by racing, even if he wasn't injured? Nothing.
