Pourcel or Canard? who will win?!

I can't really decide.. but given Pourcel has a seven point lead I think he may be smart enough to manage the race...I'll go for Canard winning the overall with a 2-1 and Pourcel winning the championship with 1-2... but I fear Barcia will try and take Poutcel out... and looking at the track Barcia might be fast enough to mix it up...

I like em both, I'm a Canard fan but I don't care who wins, they both have provided us with some great entertainment this summer.

I'm pulling for Canard but I believe Pourcel will pull it out. I actually think Pourcel will place better at Pala than Canard.

I know both riders really want the title but,

If CP loses the title I believe he will feel worse than if Canard loses the title. Midway through the championship I think Canard thought he had no chance, but coming back like he has is rewarding in itself. For CP to lose another title he was leading most of the year would be devastating.

Im with you on this. Im going for Canard, but i think CP will get it. If they are both 1 2 and CP feels like the least bit concerned i bet he will back it down assuming there is a big enough gap over 3rd. But then again who knows hell probably run 110% for the fans.

It has been almost 10 weeks since Pourcel won a race. I'm guessing Canard will win the race but Pourcel the championship. In these secnarios it seems every one else just gets out of the way of the two title contenders and refuses to race them and in this case that favors Pourcel. Of course starts or first turn pileups could shake it all up.

I really think that Pourcel thought he could crack Canard last week based the past showdowns between the two (Mt Morris last year, Millville moto 1, Unadilla moto 2). I wonder if he has lost a bit of that mental edge after giving it all he had last week and having Canard go 1-1.

I want Trey to win it because he's an American.........BUT , I really dig CP as well! I would be good if either one won it.......they both deserve it and have rode their butts off!

Just hoping for a great race this weekend , and letting those two duke it out up front.

No matter, this is going to go down as a barnburner(I hope). Either will be good for me, I doubt that Barcia is looking to take anyone out, but I have been known to be wrong once. Serious though I doubt that is the "plan".
Canard looks really good, I was gripping the carpet with my toes watching last weeks race. Made my own orthotics out of the rug, because of it. I think CP will manage the race also.

Pourcel... Funny part is from his press conference it doesn't sound like he will be playing it safe which I really admire.. He said straight up the champion should win the final race or something like that. Thats fucking cool in my book. I think he's going to win the championship and make a big statement in the process.

I'm betting it all on Trey ....CP will get a terrible start and crash in the second moto trying
to override his bike...Canard goes 1-1 and wins his first National Championship.Then look out 4 fiddy class at A-1.

hope it comes down to the wire in the 2nd moto where they tie in points and trey gets the c'ship based on overalls. then he chooses permanent #41, moves to factory honda on 450's and next year is a barn burner...

That would make the second moto real interesting. I bet both teams will be on the edge of the seat all day as will most of us.

I'd rather see Trey take the title purely because he's going into the round in second and it would stir up what many thought would be a predictable championship.

That would suck if any teammates try take out moves...racing for position is one thing, but Barcia specifically, better stay out of it in that regard.

With that said, anything can happen. I'm rooting for Canard.
