Villopoto / Aldon / Hahn / Dymond / Weege on DMXS Radio’s Special Tuesday Night Show!

Monster Energy Kawasaki’s Ryan Villopoto has returned from his forced time off with a vengeance. RV’s new confidence is apparent on and off the bike and he’s picking up right where he left off prior to the injury. We’ll catch up with the fiery redhead tonight as he prepares for the race this weekend at the famed Dodger Stadium.

The sport’s top riders over the last decade have had one thing in common. It’s not a brand of bike or any other type of mechanical advantage at all. It’s not that they were born under the same astrological sign or have special ninja powers either. Simply, they had Aldon Baker in their corner maximizing every ounce of potential and talent they possessed. That trend and success continues with the cut and confident Ryan Villopoto under his tutelage. We’ve known Aldon since his first days in the sport and look forward to forward to catching up with our friend tonight. I’m typing this while doing sit-ups in preparation of the interview because I know he can tell the difference.

One of the cool things about doing this show is getting a chance to interview riders that you cheered for as just a kid. Micky Dymond was one of those riders that stood out in a deep field of talent in the 80’s and was just pure rad. The 1986-87 AMA 125 National Champion was easy to pull for even though that early success didn’t translate to a 250. Micky has stayed involved in the motocross industry to this day, even winning a supermoto title. We’ll go old-school tonight and also talk about his latest project with the popular Nuclear Cowboyz tour. We will be giving away 4 premier tickets tonight to the February 5th show at the Phillips Arena in Atlanta, Georgia. Just listen live tonight for all the details and check out www.nuclearcowboyz.com for more information!

GEICO Powersports Honda’s Wil Hahn was a championship favorite going into Anaheim 1, but it was not to be as a practice crash injury has sidelined the popular Texan for the foreseeable future. Wil is still honoring his contract with DMXS and will still be on every show for his take from the sidelines instead of the saddle. Thanks for being such a class act, Wil.

Southern California thought it was experiencing yet another earthquake in early January, but the ground shaking was just Racer X’s Jason Weigandt setting up shop for the next few months. He’s already trying to fit in by trying to grow his hair out like Hanny, but somehow it’s not as cool. As a matter of fact, it’s his hair that needs traction control. Get on it, Weege.
