...On the 2014 riding season! I know you southern and west coast boys enjoy riding all year. But here in PA it's a pretty exciting day to be able to finally dust off the gear and Moto again. Still some snow, and it's 34 degrees...but it's getting warmer Smile

Hilarious haha, I liked them at first but I have grown to hate them, may go black...

It's been an unusually brutal winter for snow and temp here. I'm really hoping the weather breaks soon

Our ground is frozen hard and still covered with a foot or more of snow. Temps below zero next couple nights. By the time it quits being cold, the ground thaws, mud season drys out…it will be May before anyone is riding around here. But the skiing is still very good.

I've been able to ride 4 times this year. So up and down its nuts. I'm so sick of this shit... 2 days ago 70, yesterday was freezing rain.

I don't know how you people live up north. I guess you are use to it if you grew up there, but I couldn't stand it.

I never really believed that seasonal depression garbage, but its for real. You would think when its bad weather in jan/feb you would take advantage of projects inside the house or other things, nope, don't feel like doing a damn thing. Let that sun pop out and be in the 50s and up, man I'm down for what ever.

I think I would go nuts with little crumb crunchers running around for 4 months!!! I've been in VA my entire life, this has been the worst i remember as far consistent shit weather, have never seen single digits until this year. I have to work in it and do swing shift, so working nights when its 7 degrees working with your hands, just plain sick of it damn it! lol

First ride of 2014? You're 4 months late, mcfly.
Must have been too busy clicking on reply, thinking of your upcoming douchy comment, to read that the guy is from PA where the weather is shit, and most tracks have not opened yet.

I understand sarcasm, and realize that it's fun to give people shit on this board... but man, you must be an introvert in person, and have all kinds of deep seeded issues, to feel that you need to make a douche-bag comment on a thread about a guy riding for the first time this year. Hope you feel better, bud.

Yep. Stupid rocks. I have a large lump in that exact spot since high school where my external fixator pins were removed. Looks like the pressure and speed of a pretty large size rock busted it open through my boot. I am sure it would be broken right now if not for the boot. Lol

Just have to get up early, and go into hiding around 10am or so. The sun is high in the sky here at 5am!

KB5 did my forks and shock. I have ridden Kawi's my whole life so it took me a bit to get used to the pumpkin. It is now predictable and turns on a dime. I always felt the bike was to high in the rear and the more sag I ran the better it handled. It always just seemed a bit unbalanced to me. I ended up with a Ride Engineering lowering link with a softer rear spring set up...For me it made all the difference
