Petition against closure of Lierop

Guys, please all sign this petition against the closure of Lierop:

Will signatures from U.S. residents be considered? I can't imagine a whole bunch of U.S. residents signing this would be a good thing, and may detract from the force the petition has. I could see opponents of it saying that it doesn't matter what a bunch of U.S. residents think, they don't live anywhere near the noise issues, nor would they ever contribute to the local economy.

I see a post on Facebook saying that Valkenswaard is under threat of closure too. Any truth in this?

I think the international signers will actually benefit the petition. It shows people that the track is internationally known and loved. In this case it isn't weird to get petitions from all over the world because of the GP's and other big events in the past.

Unfortunately, Yes. Some neighbours started a petition against the circuit and even the speedway track around it. Would be a shame because they have the Dakar preprologue there everywhere with around 30.000 fans every year.
