He should send a Jersey to the Best comeback against Me , I would be willing to kick $100.00 to him if he does.

I'm surprised the amount of support He got , Seems people like it.

It's not that people are ok with it. It's more like people are willing to overlook it given the circumstances.
It's like people are making molehills to try to make mountains out of.

That happens then every 14yr old prick calls him out next week trying to get mentioned on RacerX.

Pieck shouldn't give a shit about me, I'm just a guy blowing hot air on the net.

Pretty stand up of him, even if he didn't mention 500guy. He was just pissed at having to ride a 4-stroke.

He shouldn't of apologized at all. What happens in the pits, should stay in the pits.

Emotions run high and if he gets angry and doesn't take it on a person or out in the open for all to see (like on the track), then all's good in my book.

Says allot (not to make an excuse for him but) that he said he has to pay allot of his own expensnes and not making the main means he doesn't make money.

I thought this was a joke until I actually saw it over on RacerX. I mean for goodness sake how sensitive is society when someone feels they have to apologize for something as insignificant as that! So he lost his temper and kicked his bike off the stand.... and that has somehow resulted this? A formal apology on RacerX? Huh The world has gone mad.

Absolute nonsense.

Sorry,
Don't think an apology was necessary. The guy is a competitor and let his emotions get
the best of him...

IMO....good on Weston!
As for Motocross 83's comment...Lol...Of all the things in this world to point to for an example of the world going mad....and this is what you've come up with? Is it just me or does it seem like something is wrong when someone thinks the world has gone mad just because someone apologized?Huh

I'm almost positive his sponsors made him do that. I doubt he cares that much until you bring $$$ into the equation.

I doubt any of his sponsors put him up to it.
I am sure he did it on his own after talking to his Dad and Mechanic

I'm not aiming that as a negative at Weston. It's aimed at anyone who piled on enough pressure to where he and his team felt it was necessary. I understand why he did it and I don't blame him in the slightest. But the fact is, to me, I still can't see how it ever got this far in the first place. Jumping about in the pits, f-ing and blinding in front of kids is one thing... kicking your bike off the stand after a heated battle whilst on your own is, well nothing. Whatever it is it certainly doesn't require an apology.

As being one of his sponsors, I can tell you that isn't true. Hell, we loved seeing that emotion from him. I personally don't think he had anything to apologize for.

Curious how much "free publicity" Pieck's sponsors received over this seemingly insignificant issue? How do they feel about Weston as a racer, not the guy who got caught on camera kicking a bike.

Also interesting is a sponsor's take on Pieck, who demonstrated drive, determination, and a strong will to succeed on the track, versus more highly-paid riders who for more or less mailed-in their performance. Can they be satisfied with mediocre results, or do they simply multiply their investment by time in front of the camera and call it a day?

thing was it was caught on camera had the camera not been there it would have been a non issue. probably would have never heard about it like the rest of the time.

funny things is had it been anyone else (top five or so rider) it would be the new thing to do, kinda like the new leg kick thing that everyone does for no apparant reason, there would be bikes on the ground everywhere.....

Now, had he kicked a puppy or Brett Michaels it probably would've been a different story.

As Dave put it Weston did this on his own, no one told him to do it and he did not do it for Vital, 500 guy or anybody else but his self. Done

Speed has no problem airing promos of some left-turn-only a-hole hucking a helmet at a windshield of a passing neckcar, why wouldn't they get a crew deep into the pits to document a rider lamenting on a really intense LCQ. I hate that I had to see it, but I for one applaud Peick. His apology proves not only his passion, but also his humility. Nobody ever wants to get filmed on live TV at their worst. Anyone being over critical is a god damn hypocrite. Act like you never thrown a wrench in the comfort of your garage, much less the LCQ at Daytona.

He might have needed to apologise if he walked over to James' & Chads pits, kicked their bikes over, then yelled "Weston Peick bitches". I like the guys passion for what he is doing.
