Fantastic ride. It's good to have him back.
I love his raw determination and bulldog style. It's not pretty but man does he rip!
4th overall is a superb result, he should be well chuffed

He rode great... Jeebus he's hard to watch ride tho... watch Plessinger or Deano or those guys, they're legs are so fluid, on their toes, especially the off-cambers before the finish... Peick is just squeezing the shit out of everything and making it his bitch.

I suppose you could say with Peick out the last few rounds Seely and Grant were in a thinned out field as well?
Canard out too. I think these guys are similar speeds.

I was about to start a thread on Peick's 4-4 finish this past weekend. I thought it was VERY impressive since he is not yet100% recovered from the wrist injury. If the wrist continues to improve, he could land on the podium for a moto if Baggett, Anderson, or Tomac have a DNF or bad crash etc.

As far as the thin field comment, let's have a look at who finished BEHIND Peick:

- Dean Wilson
- Justin Barcia
- Justin Bogle
- Martin Davalos
- Cooper Webb
- Broc Tickle
- Fredrick Noren
- Trey Canard

Lots of 4's! Qualified 14th. 4th in each moto's 1st lap and went 4-4 for 4th O/A. Good stuff.

Edit: And mine was the 14th reply. That and 1$ will get me a cup of coffee!

Does he have another year with JGR? If I was Coy, I'd try to keep Weston as long as I could. He's solid, and makes the brand and team look a helluva lot better than Barcia does...and I'll bet for a lot less money.

They were beating the heck out of each other results wise. 5th-10th separated by only 3 points overall and thru 12th only 6 points overall. Peick took care of business.

So true. I watch him and can't figure out how he's going so fast. His technique just looks so awkward, but he makes it work and that's what counts. I hope he keeps killing it.

Weston could have been one of the depleted ones and chose not to be. In my opinion, there are only 3 guys in the US right now that should be able to offer him advice and/or criticism. I am not one of those guys.

It's crazy, you can see how strong he is in G-out situations, cause his body doesn't move, but the bike doesn't bounce, twist or come back... fucking nuts.

Peick and Canard seem to have the uncanny ability to come back with elite speed.

Ride of the weekend. He was fast and had 2nd moto gas. Wrist is jacked too, according to his social posts; which prove it's hammered.

On Pulp it was said that the team has let Weston know that they will try and get him back for next year.
