Honda MX Bike History Part 1: The 1970s
For the past eight months, I've been working on a Honda Motocross history piece for PulpMX.com and this is part one.
Originally, I was going to just pick 10 significant bikes and write about them like I did for Kawasaki a few months back, but the more I delved into it, the bigger the scope of the project became. Eventually, I decided to chronicle Honda's CR/CRF history from 1973 through 2009.
Because of the size of the article (about 40,000 words in total for all four parts) we decided it was best to divide it into chunks. Part one is on the seventies is up today, After that, we will release another installment every few weeks, each one covering a decade of Honda models and development. Hopefully, everyone will find it both informative and entertaining.
