I've got fond fond memories of my 89 CR250R. It was the ultimate bike for a 15 yr old..Funny though..I spent all these years for some reason thinking the 89 forks were 49's.

Thanks! Wow, what a great time to grow up in moto. I remember having my Mom stop by the local Honda shop so I could look at and sit on the '82 CR250. Or writing my number in ink on the 1986 CR250 ad. Cool bikes and there was a lot of red on the starting line in those days.

Raced a pair of '85 CR125's and they were really good bikes. All around a great package. One of them was Keith Turpin's practice bike. Miss that smoker.

Can't wait for the next installment, my current rig is a 1996 CR250R that I absolutely love, the last of a generation!
