How come they only are getting a staggered start this year and sharing the track with the multi speed class?
Multi speed has a poor turnout and won't even make up a full gate?

That would make them a prime candidate for combining.

multi speed qualified everyone who showed up to all the regionals and they still cant make a full gate
Bobby's Bikes I'm sure will run up front we know but we are going to build our own stocker late at night in the garage, old school way, by ourselves.
And yes we have Cobras for both classes locally.
The Shop
1 Rgn'l had 30 PW's and 2 others had over 20.
One other had like 17.
Out West I don't think parents wanna spend the money to race an LL's when the drive to the National is 3,000 miles with a 6 year old who may or may not have any shot.
Unless of course they have an older brother who qualifies.
Same thing for the A class. There are not very many good riders left, they all went pro this year already! Jason Anderson and Paluzzi are the only ones who can rail.
Austin Howell...But, what would I know?
I'm jus' sayin'...
But the question remains? What is the deal with this multispeed class? No one is in it so why are they gonna clutter the PWgate, a historical class for Loretta's MX, with these trail bikes.
I know Yamaha won't produce the PW in 2011 and shit, I don't care because my guy hates riding it but for LL's we thought it was the best class to enter since he is only 5.
Maybe the class will disapear next year but it won't matter because my guy hates his PW because it has no power next to his Cobras.
We didn't plan to win, but next year don't count us out.
The real racing is in the injected class and the shaft class. And MX Sports knew that at the Area Qualifiers.
What gives?
Historical class? When is the last time a PW champion went on to get a factory ride?.
Lighten up and go have some fun you never know this may be the last time your boy ever makes it to LL.

It is a new class this year. They are trying to see if it catches on because those bikes are the largest selling minibikes made by a large margin. They are only allowing 20 to qualify along with 30 of the OI bikes.

Dont forget Malcolm Stewart, Lowel Spangler, Ryan Zimmer and many for fast A riders

Cooper Webb, Thomas Covington, Coleman Martin all got full on amateur factory rides a couple of years after winning the PW
