Looks like Millsaps isn't quite out and Chiz isn't quite in if there is any truth to what Pulp MX is reporting. From his twitter:

Chisholm today on the JGR Yamaha, Millsaps still in the mix and the #800 on the way down to test--who will be Stewie's teammate? #questions

But maybe now that L&M isn't the top Yamaha team anymore and I would assume JGR is now obviously.
With that said, maybe all the Yamaha big-wigs like McCarty & company are down there, just like they used to do at JS7's compound during the off season.Mike could be going down there to just to test in general on the new Yamaha's and not actually for a spot on JGR. If MotoC doesn't go Suzuki...which I think they haven't decided yet, because I think Canada was contracted to ride a Yamaha for MotoC this coming season.
I dont think DV would announce leaving just for a letter of intent...between MotoC & Mike.
Those rarely ever mean shit in this sport and nothing is ever final til the actual contract is inked.
Edit: just read...DV;s interview really quick....looks like Jake just only had a letter of intent also with MotoC.
(I was under the impression he had an actual contract to ride a Yamaha with them)
I do know that all the Yamaha guys used to come down to Florida to test at times at JS7's during the off season.
I was thinking maybe they were doing it at JGR now with Stewart & company...possibly.
So Mike may not have anything in stone set with MotoC...strange that DV would leave.
2 Yamaha riders & 2 Suzuki riders.
JS7 & 800 on Suzuki's (maybe JS7 bringing on more team sponsors to help support it)
Chizz & Millsaps on Yamaha's (I know JGR renewed their contract with Yamaha)
It's been a strange silly season.
I already said that in one of my previous posts in this thread,JGR is now (Coy said they renewed with yamaha well over a week ago ).
And it's Jeff Ward, not Larry Ward that is working with Mike K .now at L&M.
1. He's healthy.
2. His results were good at the Millopoto cup and the best recent result of the other riders.
3. Good test rider and lot of seat time on the Yamaha.
4. Lives in Florida near Stewart.
5. Rides with Stewart and has already been his teammate.
6. Doesn't have a high salary.
7. Will block / takeout other riders for Stewart!
It's a no brainer!
#7 comment... F%^&ing hilarious!
