Does anyone know why Bowers is #911? Shouldn't he have a double-digit number by virtue of his points scored last year?

But why did he have a choice? Was it because he's the AX champ?

Under the rules guys like Hansen have had to wear #60, Pourcel will have to use a 2-digit number next year if he rides, etc.

Tyler Bowers only scored 1 point in 2014, so he did not earn a double digit # for 2015.
And that is why Tyler is running #911.

He must not have gotten enough pts when he rode for Two-Two for a few races this year.
