That sucks for them. there is something they should be able to due about that.

Bizarre for sure. I think it's PC that rotates their engines amongst the riders so each race, they might be using another rider's engine from the week before. I'm wondering if that's the engine Wilson used in his race. If so, I'd say just toss that engine.

i know the newer sport bikes have them but i didnt think they were on MX bikes yet..isnt it kind of a negative due to the weight??

I had a Lexus IS300 that was drive-by-wire but it also had a throttle cable as well just in case it failed i guess.

Throttle by wire is not happening anytime soon in MX..

Wonder if it's got to do with wiring harness or the ignition boxes.......something maybe shorting out? They'll fix it i'm sure.


Not bad, they're winning races and finishing on podiums with major failures.

Funny, I heard the same shit back in '07 when it came to fuel injection.

And here we have it, fuel injection.

They didn't upgrade ignition when they overbore the cylinder...duh.
