That's exactly how I felt until my most recent injury. This shattered pelvis, 8.5 hours in surgery to repair, two days in ICU due to massive blood loss. and then another week in the trauma unit has me wondering if I really want to ride that much anymore or just watch my grandson and boys ride.

As I sit here with nerve damage in my foot (they say it will return to normal eventually) that is about to f*cking drive me insane I'm starting to lean more toward watching everyone else ride, at least for awhile. I love to ride but this one has taken a toll on the old man.

Oi Spydee! I looked for that song, (asked siri but she was hopeless, couldn't even make me a sammich), and at the end of the video, they only mention that the music is by Jason Bonham... It sounds different to everything I heard of his though? I tried to listen to key lyrics, but I can't make them out???Sad

not a huge fan of crash reels usually but just viewed the 1st minute or so at work and the guy who kicked his bike after crashing has made me want to watch it - just lmfao in the office and got a right look from one of the engineers n my team

Cheers for the help anyway Ezza! I've tried all of the song recognition apps available in the app store myself with no luck Dry

I reckon it's a different band as well... or at least if it's the same band then perhaps a different vocalist. I did make out a lyrics or two (at work at the moment though so can't watch it again right now) and it was something like "where am I when I'm rested".. I googled a bunch and still nothing came up... I'm determined to find out what it is, just running out of ideas!

I think I'll have to just try tweeting Jason Bonham and hope he replies.

Jamie, there are fights and all sorts in the video, it's a proper little gem, well worth watching from start to finish! Glad don't blame me if you get told off at work or something, haha!

Well after over 15 years of searching, I finally found the songs from my PAIN video, and it's all thanks to some guy on my YouTube comments! Gotta love technology these days! I bought the CD instantly and it's been on loop in the car ever since - case closed!!

How are you healing? How is the nerve issue with the foot? What was the crash that injured you?

In my experience I have waited until I was healed to make a decision about returning. Best of luck to you.

Yeah, what we do doesn't make sense so it's hard to explain. And you can't explain how awesome it is when you aren't crashing, so the consequences clearly don't make sense to normal people.
