Major props for that. Good to see an MX rider have a keen interest in enduro. Hope he practices changing tyres!

He has to be one of the most well rounded riders in the world given all the different series and places he's raced. Good for Zach, hope it goes well.

That's awesome. Great to see an American mx guy give it a go. Legends like Joel Smets and Everts have done it. I think Everts won outright. I know Smets won his class in 98

He's talented for sure but don't forget about the people that he is following....

Rodney Smith

Guy Cooper

Mike Kiedrowski

Damon Huffman

Mike Brown

I'm sure there are plenty other MXers that did off road and were successful

One of the only top WEC riders, who didn't have a strong MX background, was Mika Ahola (RIP). He was a late bloomer anyway and I don't think he ever competed in MX.

ISDE is good for moto guys. It is all about treating the specials like a moto but against the clock. I bet he does well.

Good call Zach. There is no denying his time spent in another world (Europe) was the best thing to ever happen to this young man. I wonder how he'd be doing if he had never ventured over there. I will continue to root for Zach in all things moto.

Roger Thain from France is another former pro motocrosser who regularly competes in the ISDE

The major difference with all the great riders mentioned is the fact that Zach is in the middle of his mx career. That speaks volumes of his character and appreciation of the sport as a whole. How many other guys with a major ride wants to change his own tires and bounce off trees for hours and hours for a solid week. Look at what Brown has been able to do with a late start offroad, Zachs possibilities are endless. They remind me alot of how badass all the old school racers were that raced different disciplines every weekend sometimes on the same bike (Gary Bailey, Malcom, etc)

Wow this is nice to hear. I remember my first ISDE there were not many Mx guys racing But there was one that destroyed everyone. Stefan Everts. He won his category and the scratch. Insane sand skilss!

Back when he was in England he ran at least one vintage event. He gave a few old bikes a good wringing out and he said he loved it. In this day and age when a lot of these kids never ride never take a bike off the track it's good to see what Osbourne is doing. Got a feeling that everything he's had to fight through has made him appreciate the good life.
