Musqin is on 250s isn't he? Will Short be the headliner or is there one more shoe at KTM. Short is a wingman, great guy to have for PR but he is unable to win despite the speed and talent.

Great, 2 guys who can't close the deal. I thought Alessi was MX only,

Is Alessi going to be under the Red Bull tent or is he staying under Jäger?

he is unless KTM asked him to step up to the SX plate for them....

I think Alessi only has a year until RdC gets RD back. It would be cool to see Mike turn it around, especially since so many are going SX only.

Alessi is going down under to practice SX - he will be on the line at A1

..."practice SX"... That's not a thinly veiled slight on the Australasian Supercross Championship is it? Or is it more of an out'n'out disparaging remark.

We'll see you at the A1 starting gate. "Practice", indeed.

I wouldnt be surprised to see Pourcel and Reed go there. Maybe someone like stroupe? That kid has some heat for real at times.

Also right now it looks like they wouldn't be doing the East coast as both Musquin and Roczen are West. BTW Musquin spoke about how weird it felt to see KTM sign his main competitor and put him on the SX program as well. Kind of steal his thunder I guess especially after the MXdN.

I say they sign another guy like Stroupe or another top 10 material guy.

I don't know why they wouldn't get Alessi on SX. Last year they didn't have the setup ok but this year they do and the guy was definetly top 10 even top 5 on the suzuki.

Or even Kees Van Der Ven. After all, he won the overall at Unadilla, on a KTM...in 1982, that is.

i say if alessi stays outdoor only that they sign reed or someone sx only. Or hopefully they will get a couple east coast lites guys. Aren't matt lemoine and kyle cunningham available? they would be people that could use a good chance

Correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think Alessi is contracted by KTM to race in Australia. Australian SX results are reported in the USA but not covered in as much detail by the American media as domestic races. So Alessi's performance down there is probably not too critical to him (at least not as much as American SX). That's why he can "treat" it as practice. I don't think the remark was a jab at Australian SX. Settle down, "mates".

On the "Kenny Watson and other guy show", RV mentioned something about a possible 3-man team at Kawi. Is it still possible that CP377 goes there? His brother is on Kawis in Europe (for many years already) and I thought I heard someplace that his dad runs a Kawi dealership in France (not sure). He's been on green bikes for a long time and I suspect there is some brand loyalty there. Granted, it's a long shot, but is it possible Fisher is still working on getting Pourcel? Just askin.

As for KTM, Roger has been known to surprise with some real head scratchers. Moss and Hurley come to mind. Sure, CP377 and CR22 are legit contenders for a spot on the team, but with Roger, who the heck knows...
