through Blackwell Beef, a title sponsor of Ricky's Roush racing team for his sensational Rookie season I got to attend the Auto Club race in 2011. It was a kick hanging in the paddock, grilling steaks for lunch with the team and watching all the attention around the three drivers I was most interested in, Ricky, RC and Danica. I sat with Ricky and his High School sweet heart at dinner. Man I'll bet she was bummed when she lost that meal ticket....Anyway, fast forward to the last lap with Danica pushing into the top ten, Ricky and RC running 12th and 13th and some speedster gets into the back of Danica, intentionaly spins her and she takes out the only other two I gave a crap about making a strong finish.
