Tough break for Trey Canard with his A2 heat crash, but what is going on with official who looks to shoulder charge a rider who went wide when they burst through the bales in turn?

Looked like he was heading toward the downed riders on the track and didn't look to see if anyone else was coming.

At :26 it doesn't look like he was running to help anyone. It looks like he was trying to yank the guy of his bike. Might not be the case but that is how it appears imo

It definitely does not look like a "shoulder charge"

He is moving forward due to the carnage, noticed the oncoming bike, turns away, and is caught by the Handel bar.

You guys must be bored and seeing things that just aren't there and jumping to comclusions

It looks really weird from this angle, good catch seeing that i never noticed it during the broadcast.

I guess in reality the track worker wanted to run towards the carnage on the track without paying attention on the riders comming towards him.

It was a photographer that thought he found a safe spot to cross the track

Why are those riders grabbing gears down the side of the track instead of just getting back on?

The AMA needs to put a stop to it once and for all. If you go off the track, you deserve to lose time.

Watch carefully at the beginning and you'll notice the guy on the Honda in white gear wasn't forced off the track. He simply chose to ride off.

It's legal to do that. It's in the rule book under section 28, article 7, called "The Villopoto Clause"

Maybe this is something they should look at, like the joker lane. They could call it Gladiator Alley. Challenges their skills against the likes of Lazer, Blazer, Tazer, Nitro and Ice... Huh

Late in the main I saw Mike Alessi exit the track at the start of the whoop section and re-enter in the corner after. Not sure why although he was two laps down and the off-track was a whole lot smoother than those whoops.

I saw that, I'm pretty sure that's when he was getting lapped and he was getting out of the way.

The guy on the yamaha behind the honda rider did the same thing. Actually this instance may have worked out for the best. One of those guys could have been right in line to run Trey over when he was at the bottom of that transition.

Not trying to get away from the original post, but since we're talking about people cutting the track...

Did anyone notice that in the 250 main, either Decotis or Smith cut the track at the beginning? Right after the whoops, a Geico bike just went straight over the Tuff blocks and never made it to the corner.

He had got the blue flag and was getting out of the way.
