One of the best MX training tools you can own. A lot of people race MX,but not everyone can ride a bike. Tryals will teach you how to properly ride a bike. Thus making you a better racer.

Angled back cylinder, Fuel injected, Hybrid Stee/Aluminum frame, etc., etc. This is as technologically advanced as they come. Hope they make an MX bike too. Best...

Yeah, some people will jump huge stuff on a trials bike. However, this is a VERY small percentage. The bikes are not engineered for this type of abuse... it wouldn't take long before something breaks. For instance, look for the Julien Dupont video where he snaps the swingarm. A motocross bike or well built minibike would not have broken like this.

As I stated before, a trials bike isn't that much fun on any sort of track. First off, the power delivery is all wrong... when you are used to a motocross bike, a trials bike revs about like the choke is on at high rpms. The transmission ratios are completely off (1st through 3rd or 4th are usually almost identical, with big gaps to 5th and 6th). Try riding a moto without sitting down at all. These things are not designed for riding at speed. One time when chasing buddies on big bikes through the woods, I boiled the rear brake, puked out a ton of coolant, and even boiled the clutch fluid. After that, I figured I might as well save the trials bike for what it's designed for.

I can't help but think of that motor in a motocross frame. Tune the thing for more revs and slip in an appropriate set of gear ratios....hmmmm. A 280 tuned to have a nice, even power delivery without being peaky would be a joy to ride, wouldn't it?

I had an Ossa trials bike in the mid 80’s. It was a lot of fun. The bikes have come a long way since then.

So have the riders. This guy blows my mind.
