By the looks of the leg folded MCL and posible ACL. The way he walked i'd say the ACL might be OK.

Yeah, hope it's just a sprain. Crash seemed too slow to be a bone break and you would think his knee brace would prevent an injury from such a slow fall.

RV is one tough SOB, lets hope it's a sprain or something he can get over in a few weeks.

Sort of looked to me like his foot was pointing the wrong way for a few seconds, indicating a knee

Sad to see him try to crawl across the track at his home town race for such of non epic crash.

Or possibly none of the above. Definitely looked like a twisted / dislocated knee, but it's possible to do that without tearing ligements (unlikely though). I've twisted mine several times w/o ligament damage, thing would still swell like a Cantalope & put me out for about 6 weeks. Just trying to be optamistic for RV's sake, hopefully he can make it back for the Nationals.

Every top rider out - get rid of those 450's! I know it's not what caused RV's injury, but the attrition can't be denied. They have so much power, they are riding the rider - should be the other way around. My bet, the AMA will have to do something, looking at the stands in Seatle, that place looked dead. The venues are missing out on tons of money by not having a championship to watch. In the end, it's all about money & there's tons of it going out the window.

Why blame the 450Fcc? Why not the track? This crash and injury could of happened on a 125T, 250T, 250F, 350F, or a 450F. This was a crazy double onto a table bunny hop over whoops. Its was a basic turn
