It's late here... My sarcasm detector is firmly switched off, so i'm running with you didn't hear already, but have fallen for what will probably be a 2 race guest appearance...

Its pretty much a no brainer. There are some contracts with him and his sponsors that are up this year. He is the only rider who didn't take a huge salary "adjustment" because of the economy like Chad and the other guys have done. A lot is riding on what happens with him in 2010, and so far, his team/sponsors are probably not over excited with him being on the sidelines. If he doesn't do the outdoors, you will probably see him on another team unless he's willing to take a huge pay cut. At least his TV show is coming out which will help keep him out there but thats not the same as winning races.

This sounds similar to last year...except he wasn't out the majority of the sx season then. Until there's a press release, I'm not believing it.

lol..fact, the 200 member serrano tribe pull in over a 100 million dollars a year from the casino. the pocket change they pay james probably doesn't even rock the serrano boat. there are other sponsors but i think red bull and these serranos are the main ones

Our local Mex Restaurant Guadalajara Jalisco can ruin a day! Roughly translated I think it means "The Fiery Bunghole" but for 5.25 you expect that sort of thing.

your right, they bring in major $$$$ with the casino's but in this economy, I don't think they will treat that type of money as pocket change. Business is business and they are paying for potential championships. L&M's contract is up with San Manuel so this probably isn't the best year for James to only race a few races. They may not pull the plug but you can bet they will wanna adjust accordingly to this years results and the current economy in general.

Im sure James wants to race because he wants to be back on the bike, but it doesn't hurt to try and get a MX championship to salvage the year for the team and sponsors.

Maybe James is racing a few Nationals because Red Bull wants him racing the MXoN.

didnt james say that it was pointless to do just a few races last year? What changes in a year to where he would just do select rounds this year

James has a lot of pressure on him... can he beat RV, BT and Dungey outdoors consistently- will he even survive the series - he usually doesn't , only 3 times since 2002 has James completed a full outdoor series.. and will he be able to beat Cairoli at the MXDN..

I haven't forgotten that Ricky has the "Staying Power" that James hasn't shown, yet.

Also, I haven't forgotten that Ricky NEVER hid behind his Daddy's, Mommy's, Team's or Sponor's Skirt.

I'm jus' keepin' it REAL!

James Stewart is not racing the Nationals, at least not the entire series.

He just likes hearing himself talked about.
