Let's keep things respectful. If you want to use RV2, JS7, RD5, etc., that's cool.

Some of the others (Done-G, Bubbles, Tutu, Daisy Mudflaps, Kfade, etc.) are kind of childish.

How many years did you let folks use Kfade and now alluva sudden the Golden Child gets a new moniker and its heresy to use nicknames?

Maybe you just dont like Windham? Dry

No, I just hit the tolerance level for all of them. I think it's time for fans to at least show a minimum amount of respect for each other's riders.

BL will never log in again.

Oh wait, it's members that he makes up stupid names for, not the riders.

Does this mean I can't call Reed "tutu" anymore?

But really, as humorous as a few names are, I agree with Steve.

I like "K-Rock"Smile

I think most people on here use the RV2-RD1 etc. nick names just so we don't have to type out the whole name or make a mistake in spelling and get crucified by others here!

With all due respect Steve , The industry shouldn't try to manipulate the fans like this.

As a Fan and a ticket buyer and someone who spends money on the Sport the last thing I want is someone telling me what nicknames I can use.

I wonder if the NFL message boards tell the fans what they can and can't say?

It is my experience on boards is that , when it is a subject oriented board, people talk about the subject until it has been done over and over again. Then they come up with different things to say that become more off topic. Then religion and politcs get interjected. There is always an element of personal attack

If the people are muzzled then they start going away. When there is freedom of speech people gather and talk, when not they find other places to go. I don't think that means don't ban abusive users though.

Forums rise and fall. I guess we will just see how it works out for this one. I don't use nicknames for riders but if the forum is overrun by people using nicknames for riders, it tells you something about the people writing in the forums. You must decide for yourself if that is good or bad I guess. If the moderator has to time to hunt down all the treads where people use nicknames, he has a lot more time on his hands than I do. Smile
