Never really believed they would be there. No Colton at Utah. Team mgr. just confirmed that in the other thread.

Colton will do well because all of the riders are just looking to head into the off season/SX without getting hurt and will not be going balls out. Not saying he's not a great rider just don't want to hear how great he is if he gets a top 5 in a race where only 2 guys really care.

Can't tell if you are just fishing, or if you really believe your own bullshit.

Haha sorry about that, we assumed it was a no go and Malcolm would be racing until this afternoon. At one point we were looking at shipping our own equipment but decided against it with the short time frame between wrapping up our last National here Sunday.

So Colton on Mookie's bike in Utah this weekend. Got it.
Didn't see that one coming. This is an odd sport sometimes.

Thanks. Great news!

It's just in fun. We old timers have a go at our pals up north around here.

It is way too ironic that both of the Stewart's are still out without anything 'broken' on either of them. At first I got it, after how much time has passed, it is starting to raise some serious speculation.

Great for Colton though!! That will be cool to watch.

How about Ronnie Stewart, is he racing. Don't forget about the Privateer Stewart, even if it is no relation. There might just be a Stewart racing.

Sucks, he didn't ride much here last year so we were hoping to see James racing this year. Hope he figures it out..

I'm lost on this situation, what is reason James is out? He's not hurt, so.....

Maybe uptite can stop in here and spill a bunch of made up info on this situation. Pinch

James, Tony, and Malcolm are all three out for the weekend.

Kyriazis298 is friends with Ronnie Stewart's trainer on Facebook; we should ask Kyriazis if all four Stewarts are going to be absent.

I'm starting to suspect, a major health issue with one of the stewart brothers.
one may be hanging at home, so to be, as a family unit situation,if you will.
not saying life threatening, but serious enough to stick together?
are they even riding at home?
how many weeks to cure severe dehydration/and dizzy spells?? a month

Malcolm's Instagram pictures leads me to believe that he's not gravely ill:

More here: http://instagram.com/malcolmstewart

I have also heard that James has been riding the last few weeks for whatever that is worth.

Stewart Brothers are not really doing anything to help their cause with their fans, riding during the week and then not showing at the races.

You would think most riders under contract would at least show up and try to race like Jake Weimer has. He is not nearly "100 percent" but he is out there on the line.

I wonder how frustrated Suzuki and Troy Lee really are about this? In particular Yosh Suzuki, they have to pay that whole team and all the expenses that go with it for basically nothing. I have to be honest and ask how much of James not showing at the races is due to his ego being hurt?

He is, after all, a professional and he should have to do his job which is racing. If he can do motos during the week he can at least line up at a national.

Who would have thought that Weston Peick would be Suzuki's saving grace this year?

James....??....I'm still not sure....nobody is.

Malcolm on the other hand suffered through some dehydration issues and it took a toll on his liver and kidney's! Not something to mess around with.

It does seem odd both are out at the same time , but I think they are two totally separate type things going on.

Where has it been said that they are not racing this weekend?
8/20/2014 9:58pm
What is strange is how much James has been out riding lately. I've heard that it's the team keeping James out but something seems fishy about this.

I agree. It doesn't make much sense at all.

James and Malcolm rode Milestone today. I didn't talk to them but assumed they'd both be racing this weekend. With all do respect to James he looked healthy, fast and rode a couple long motos.

Is this that "self-imposed suspension" that will, supposedly, help with the FIM penalty ?
