I havent put one on and I know very little other then what I can see of it. The front looks like it offers zero protection. I guess if you are racing MX only that is fine, I really like that wall of plastic in front of my shin to ward off any errant rocks or sticks.

Just my thoughts.

The only thing I know about the boot is from the video that was on vital. In the video it had really good built in support. Im sure that support helped Dungey when he fell out of the sky on that tripple. Im not much for the looks but it was designed well with the intent of giving good support. Maybe RV should have had a pair?

Good point. The looks have kind of grown on me too.

Intrusion? LMAO. Keep the same money in the sport, we don't need any other companies in OUR sport, huh Spode? Forget about the companies that have dropped out in the last 3 or 4 years.

I wouldn't agree with that statement.

The jumps were completely different. RV's was from a high jump to a high landing where RD's was from a low jump to a high landing. This resulted in RD not falling nearly as far from the sky.

RV broke a tib/fib which they have very little to do with boot protection. RV landed more on his side as well.

Thank you panic rever .....that was an ignorant comment why in the HELL would you NOT want new companies in the sport???? Spoken like a true small mx company sales rep geezus....it amazes me the kind of thinking that goes on in this sport. There could be nothing that could benefit us more than a company like Nike getting involved in our precious sport....

Here's a closer look at the boots he was wearing last weekend. The previous week, there weren't covers over the ankle pivot (and did I spy adjustable stops last week?) This time around, it had covers on board. The black/yellow was also cool.

Good for the sport, but I've had 3 pairs of Nike shoes, 2 pairs of runners and 1 pair of football boots, all absolute Junk...

Adidas is the only way to go, germans know how to do it right!!!

I like the lunar series for running.

For an everyday shoe nothing beats the Air Max 2009!!

Everyone know Adidas are better. Check out what these shoes do all on their own.
