Huge fan of Nick...and that's a bummer, but I totally get it. He's been doing it the hard way a long, long time.

Good for him. Nick Wey would do a great job at the vital Q&A that they've been doing.
I was just thinking the same thing. With his personality, Nick would make an epic Q&A.

Nick Wey was one rider I always liked and appreciated, regardless of results. Great career Nick, good luck in the future.

Some fun facts:

Nick raced professionally from 1997-2015 (parts of different 19 seasons)
* 386 entries in the RacerX Vault
* 1 Career win at the 125cc Millville National in 1999
* Finished 2nd twice outdoors ('99 Glen Helen, 125cc), ('00 Mount Morris, 125cc) and once in 125 SX (Minneapolis 2001)
* 4 podiums in 450 supercross (3 in 2006, 1 in 2007)
* Best Finish in each series (125 SX East - 2nd in 1999), (125 MX - 4th in 1999), (450SX - 4th in 2003, 5th in '04 & '06), (450MX - 6th in 2008)
* In all 386 races (250 SX/MX and 450 SX/MX) he was in the top 10 205 times
Top 12 273 times
Top 15 332 times
* Had only 5 occasions where he didn't finish both motos outdoors

Congrats! Walking away in one piece after 18 years of professional racing is no easy feat.

Funny its only through the Pulp podcasts I've really got a glimpse into his personality, but seems like a good dude.
