Apparently the states that I've raced in are all smaller scenes so my existence has been sheltered, what the heck is "vet track" supposed to mean? I'm a vet and I jump stuff at my local track that a lot of the kids don't even jump. So is the idea that vet tracks are supposed to be easier? Smaller jumps? Have an Icy Hot dispenser built in on the starting line : ) ?

Just curious...
Most "vets" don't want to jump the big stuff. But good on you if you are up to for it. No need to be a tool about it though.

Sorry, didn't mean to sound cocky, honestly I don't consider myself fast by any stretch. I was actually trying to be funny. Anyway, I just think it's interesting that a safer track with smaller jumps would be defined as a "vet" track, because it also sounds like a good idea for beginners. Or do places that are big enough to have "vet" tracks also have specific beginner tracks?

Most of the tracks here in southern ca have "vet" tracks. There are a ton of folks that ride in these parts with all skill levels and with the amount of pro/a/b speed riders there needs to be a separation. The vet track provides decent safe fun obstacles without the pressure of speedy always on your ass making you nervous.
We also have pit bike/85 and beginner tracks at some of our local tracks also. Makes it kind of nice to have a variety at one place. Milestone I believe now has 5 tracks and the private Rockstar track out back.
I walked it the other day and I'm getting a New bike. Best thing to happen at LEMP. Bryan Wallace knocked it out of the park with this one. Be there tomorrow...after watching Unadilla

Duly noted, we'll chalk it up to the medium. Yes, lots of tracks in Cali have vet and main tracks with the vet tracks having fewer jumps that have a big penalty if you screw them up.
rode it today, the track is sooooo fun. very safe, yet very fun. stoked to have a bitchin new track in the rotation. there is still the main track and the vet track, this is kinda in between.... its fun as hell, cant wait to hit it again next weekend
