Depends where you look... About 99% of pros here are wearing Shoei or Arai.

The more I look at it the more I like it. I've owned a few Shoei's (both street and off-road) over the years. Nothing, with the exception of Arai comes close to the build quality. Might be my next lid!

So is the MEDS dispenser built inside the helmet to use immediately after a crash?

not sure what to really think about it... I was hoping for a little smoother design. I am interested to find out more about the MEDS system.

Looks pretty gnarly. It seems like they're going for that more bird looking design that some of the euro helmets are leaning towards like the UFO, just1 and airoh.


I've ridden the vfx-w for awhile and my biggest complaint is that the visor is so narrow it feels like a strip of wrigleys gum. Looks like they fixed that.

I like it. One thing with Shoei and Arai, they are like an RMZ450. Get a new one every ten years and you stay current

Says top ot helmet X Lite brand (From Nolan) more known from road bikes.

Shoei and Arai are the best bang for the buck here. My local shop sells them for about $400-450, then can get a 10% mark down. Hoping the new model stays at that price range.

I have a couple of VFXW's, and when the time comes that I start riding regularly again, I definitely get one of these. Shoei fits my egg head like no other. Plus I've crash tested and approved Shoei.
