New KX-F forks

I just saw the new Kawasaki front fork setup. Didn't the 1985 Cagiva 125 WMX have a similar setup? Anybody got any more info on that bikes suspension?

I remember the 86 WMX had just one spring, MXA said it was horrible and put another spring in the empty side.
