Nice bike, congrats!! Take a lot of pictures because it'll never look like that again after the 1st ride. There's nothing like a brand new bike! Now, go get that thing dirty. The cleanness is hurting my eyes.

thank you! I had ridden my buddy's 2012 250sxf and loved it...but thought it needed just a little more bottom end, so this was my choice. I had a 04 crf450 and it was nothing but problems for me, and I'm no pro that bike had more than enough power when it would run. Coming off of a 2 stroke now and couldn't be happier.

You might want to remove that last sentence or else your new bike thread may turn into a 2 stroke v. 4 stroke thread real quick. haha. Glad to have you aboard.

good choice. congrats.
Anybody ridden the 2016 model? felt more like 450 than a big bored 250 imho. But I haven't got a clue Whistling

KTM's are a little different to Jap bikes in the way they do things so learn the ins and outs of KTM's like replacing that inline fuel filter regularly (the intank filter socks are good insurance), clean the oil screens with regular oil changes, get some spare air filters and change them regularly and always ensure the air filter well oiled and is seated correctly at the back, blue loctite your subframe and shifter bolts, and it will do you well.
A cheap and easy mod is the map switch, maybe a tad more low end may suit you through a well selected pipe and definitely find a suspension company that knows how to tune those 4CS forks well.

I have not ridden the 16 350sxf but it appears to have a few more hp and a little less weight. Im just your average practice pro weekend warrior so those changes don't concern me so much....I could probably make the weight difference up by hitting the gym more!

Enjoy dude! Nice bike. E-start, good power, it will be great.

I like that the 15 has an orange frame better than the black 16 frame, imo.

The "magic button" on my 450, lost it's magic fairly early in the bike's life. Unfortunately I don't ride it very frequently and found that a battery tender was a necessity.

Great bike. It's what I have . . The map switch works great . The radiators are Super Super weak . I went to a 51 rear sprocket . The best way I have found to change the air filter is to take the seat off so you can see the back side. It's easy to put it on and not have it seated .

Congrats man!! Quite jealous. I started riding KTM in 2000, couldn't imagine riding another brand now. I'm sure you've got your parts sources figured out, but I've gotten some crazy good deals (and customer service) from http://www.ktm-parts.com They're based out of West Virginia (they're an actual dealer with a first class shop, drove up from NC to buy some bikes last year). They randomly have some awesome sales several times a year.

I really like that 350! ill know for sure how I want to gear it when I get to ride a few hours on it, I think a tooth up on the rear might be required to get the most out of the power

That new bike smell is beautiful, I haven't really had a chance to mess with anything on the bike, how does the map switch work?

On most Mx tracks I am only in 2nd and 3rd this bike really runs best in the upper rpms . Fwiw the 15.5 FE and 16 front fender and number plate bolt right on . I changed my springs for my weight and that helped . Overall I have been very happy with the bike and with the support from KTM

Sorry, the sticker on the rear fender says you got to race it... Nothing like the smell of a new bike except maybe a whiff of

cornbeef... Have fun

I have a '13, really like it but would like to try that new 150. Here's a couple pics from last week in the sand

Was also able to pull a holeshot on it the other weekend in the old guy class

Unfortunately I'm out of shape, so faded at the end, blame my Mtn Dew
