Now day's a Team Manager's job is more of a baby sitter and patting the riders on the ass. Not so much motivating them.

Look all, I, meaning me, I personally find his, 500guys
comments disrespectful, again to me.
How others past or present take it is up to them, but
I'd like to think they'd be in line with me.
Are we all the same, of course not..........but,
for me, the job isn't easy. Never has been, but it's all
in what's required. There's nothing that's done I haven't had a
hand in, on or otherwise......having my fingers in each & every crack
is a normal day to day deal, 24 fn 7. Race days too.......
Not a normal life, not a normal job by miles & miles..............
So yeah, the "babysitting crap" is crap!
Maybe for some, not for me.
I'm proud of where I've been & what I've done.

Calling a race team manager a babysitter is like calling a diesel truck mechanic a grease monkey...

From a distance....
It seems to me a Team Managers position would also be the most stressful.
All the weight/lame pretty much lays on their shoulders from what I have seen in this sport.
Also in this sport it seems like it is the team managers job is to also put the puzzle together and call the shots.
I'm sure it is not an easy job by any means..

Dave

No disrespect intended on my part. I was more talking about how hard it would be keeping everyone happy , working and making sure the riders don't have a mental melt down.

Sorry if you took what I said the wrong way.

500guy........
"back pedaling " excepted.......!
Like I said "I love yaKissing " just my mood......
Another thing a perspective manager has to deal with is,
the "sex lies & video tape of silly season".....ha ha ha
She's tough out there..................hence it gets lonely on the
fence I'm on.

yeah, because his 2 National Championships and winning races and being a solid top 3 guy well into his 30's wasn't much of an accomplishment.

Mike was awesome last year when he came to the races. He helped me a lot with bike set up stuff and on the track stuff. I really liked JC too. But moving forward it will be good to have Mike more involved with the riders on a daily basis because he can see things that we cant.

Mike should concentrate on make Barcia happy because he is the star of the team. Barcia is the real deal, more reall than Larrooco.
