Alright guys I am finally going to get a new bike. I have decided to pick up a left over 16 450. Got it down to 3 bikes. 16 KTM450SXF, 16 KX450F, 16 YZ450F. Im a bigger guy at 6"0 and 3 large ones. Which bike do you think would fit a bigger guy better?

I'm 6 feet tall and I love my 16 YZ450F.

The suspension was soft for me at 185 lbs, so if you're 3 bills you'll need springs on any bike.

The KX is a bigger bike and has 4-way adjustable bar mounts and two peg height settings. Probably the best for a bigger guy. Don't have much time on mine yet, but no issues whatsoever so far.

Your the prefect candidate for an xr100..sorry just being an asshole...I havnt been riding.
I rode a buddies 14 YZF450 once and it felt huge (compared to my CRF)...So I'd say Yamaha for the bigger fellas.

Do you have any buddies that have any of those bikes that you can try out? The kawi is probably the slimmest feeling bike. I've ridden the '16 KTM350 and that bike was probably the funniest 4 stroke I've ever ridden. Rode it at Pala and boy that thing was fast!

I say go with the Kawi IMO. Plus they look awesome. So many ways you can go with the looks of one.

You might want to read that YZ frame cracking thread if you are tipping the scales.

Every bike will feel huge compared to a CRf, including the XR100 Wink

All 3 bikes are liked by bigger guys, although the newer Kawis are slimmer.
Really hard to not suggest the KTM. They're just so damn good. But the Kawi not only has the adjustable bars like the KTM, it has adjustable foot pegs. The KTM has more power, but has anyone every complained about the Kawi being slow??
Personally not a Yamaha fan, people do like them... just not me. Did I say the KTMs are awesome?

If you go with KTM I suggest you visit KTMWorld (highland park) here in Georgia. I recommend them all the time. You can come down for the weekend, have the suspension already sprung/valved for your weight and ride all weekend on your new bike. And if youre not totally happy with the suspension they'll fix it right there. They have cabins for rent, or you can camp.

Enjoy the new bike! Cool

I have a 16 KTM Factory Edition and I really like it. I had a 15 KTM 450 and the 16 with AER forks are much better.
I'm 5'9 and the 16 KTM fits me well and Feels very similar to my old 13 CRF450.
I've ridden the new YZF450, good bike but it felt tall for me.

I love my 16 Kawi. Although I'm on the other end of the scale, 5'6" 155. lol

FC did my suspension and as some have said, very adjustable ergos. Plus I think they look badass.

If in had to get something besides my Honda it would be the Kawasaki just because of the adjustable bars and pegs. They look sick too. Plan on a tune for the pcm to help with popping.

I just got a new kx last week. It is one of the best stock bikes I have ever ridden. I did ride a new Ktm and yzf and while they were very good bikes the Yamaha felt akward to me and the Ktm didn't impress me as much as I thought it was going to, maybe I was expecting to much. FYI I'm 5'10" and about 250lbs.

Thanks for the help guys. I ended up picking up at 16 KTM 450SXF. I got it tore down today to get the suspension sent off. So far it seems like a nice bike.

Awesome man, have fun. You coming from a zuk I would be interested in hearing what you think after you got some hours in on the KTM.
