Any good recommendations? Need to match a dark gray hard anodize color.

Old post, but did you find someone?

If so, what was the cost?

It went sideways and down on that project. Shipped them to California where they decided they didn't have a match for the color. From there to Pennsylvania where they were done twice but still came back too light. Ended up having them done 100 miles away in Houston where they turned out almost perfect. The shop in Houston agreed to do them until they showed up and they started giving me some song and dance about not doing stuff for individuals, only manufacturers. They finally agreed to do them. Costs? A small fortune. Definitely not the route to go. But it had to be done and the project turned out nice;

Very nice newman!

In the future you might want to try colors.inc. I had some stuff done last feb that I was very pleased with the price and quality.

Had them do a whole bunch of gold stuff a long time ago, turned out really nice. Thinking they told me they couldn't match the hard ano color. I have a large bit of red stuff piling up that they may be doing soon.

Newman, a race buddy of mine has an anodize shop up here outside Dallas. I bet he would do that red stuff for ya.

Newmann,

I don't know of any personally but when i was into paintball a lot of the guys would get custom anno done on their markers, most of it would be in small batches ( 1 to 10 pieces) you can check out this thread http://www.pbnation.com/showthread.php?t=3881975

Hopefully it helps you out.
