good race that, JOsh is going well for a 40 year old, he was not ment to be riding but his 250F rider got hurt last week and Josh had promised MNZ to have a rider in each class, so he suited up at round 1 and won 3 from 3

Good on them, they are having go. I raced a stadium motocross in a small country town and it was awesome.
We had a flatbed trailer from a semi as the finish line tabletop, Andrew McFarlane and Takeshi Katsuya were there in the pro class.

Parramatta supercross had a flatbed tralier as a tabletop too in '99 Laughing

it used to be part of a burt munro challange (the guy who the world fastest indian is based off) which is a motorcycle event in southland that has a sealed hill climb, beach race, track arace and a street race, with a big motorcycle rally, they used to pull a decent crowd out of the rally site, \

that has now moved to feburary which is the middle of our mx nats so no one will ride the sx,

The flatbed finishline tabletop was a staple around here, at one meeting they tried two end to end haha with a big run up and it was 4th flat out on my 250 to make it.. The head marshall deemed it too big so they just pulled one out!

Then it took everything not to OJ the bejeesus out of it haha

What small country town was it?

My brother drove me and my mate in the Hiace and I got the middle seat for about 8 hours PinchLaughing

It was when McFarlane was wearing O'neal on the YZ250 with patriot graphics (it wasn't a Noleen Yammie was it?).

Haha man that middle seat sucks! Spend most of the time staring back at your own forehead haha.. Yeah I was prob there then, I missed one year due to injury but I was in the beer tent that year haha.. I'm obviously older than you I only raced juniors once (94) when Katsuya ruined any dream I had of being pro haha, cause he was the first guy I got to race on that level.. Seemed I was pretty fucken far from it haha

How good were the StadiumMX's back in the early days! The plan was to hit as many as possible but shit went south with old-mates dad (mini dad) and I pretty much stopped racing.

I still have footage, I'll have to dig it up... How trick was Katsuya! I swear he wore a version of AXO gear called A2 and I can't find a trace of it... I've almost thought of having myself committed because of it.Laughing

Laughing Spot on with the middle seat.
