I'm waiting on my Husky to arrive. Suppose to be released in Sept, but I'm hoping to get a call sooner...

Wow I didn't think these would be out so soon! I'd kill for a new 250xc but mine will have to suffice for now.

Took it for a quick rip through the woods. First two things I noticed. 1. Counter balancer seems to have done its job. Next to no vibration. 2. Seems to have way more snap off the bottom compared to my 2013.

Just went through and regreased and torqued everything. Ktm hasn't released the manual yet so I'm kinda at a loss as what to do with the forks.

Could probably figure out a way to put e start in it too. Has all the mounting and the bracket for battery.

I had a 2013 250sx. It's way less. One of the first things I noticed.

Husky is pretty much the same bike, they say 148psi.

I put the suspension off my fe 450 on my son's '16 150. Been running the forks at 144psi all weekend and very happy. The handling is amazing. Mid 140's is probably good starting point. A zipty on the fork leg helped me find a good setting

I've ridden the AER forks and spoken to at least 5 riders (A and vert riders) running mostly 250 sx-f Fe's. MXA has some excellent guidance on fork setup. Everyone I spoke to confirms their view on running lower PSI. All of them are running between 138-145PSI and have found that range to be the sweet spot. The 250sx is a bit lighter and with a 2 stroke being already less front heavy, I suspect you may find the 130's to be your landing spot.

Are the black rims made by DID or Excel now? Couldn't see any logos on there's. Sweet bike though!

I was testing bike at press day and its first 250 that doesnt shake and power doesnt scare you.
Airforks and shock work even better in 2-stroke than 4-stroke models. We didnt go down in airpressure as much as 2016 in these new ones. Fork had sticker for settings and we pretty much were happy there. If i was looking big 2-stroke
this would be one.

134-138 psi,,,,full soft on compression, 15-17 clicks out on the rebound.....shock 2 turns out out on hi-speed, 14 clicks out on compression, 11 clicks out on rebound....STATIC SAG(most important) 27mm...SoCal tracks...:-)

Nice bike man. Damn that silencer is huge though. An FMF shorty will do the trick.

Not a huge KTM guy or two stroke diehard, but in all seriousness, a 250 SX is the sexiest bike on the market today.
