When Dungey and Reed came up on Seely. Dungey and Seely started dicing with Seely blocking Dungey and slowing down the racing.

Reed watching this, goes down the middle of the rhythm lane with a good drive, gets to the middle of the turn and says to Dungey: "I've got this, Seely's holding up some good racing with his BS blocking". Reed passes Dungey, gives Seely a dose of his own medicine and Seely is suddenly in 4th place. That was a sweet move.

Yes it was.

I don't agree with your Seely comment though, I liked his fire and do whatever it takes to keep Dungey behind him.. it didn't work out but it damn sure made it interesting and I knew Chad was watching licking his lips knowing what he was about to do

I was just stoked to see Chad going to the front in the "Old-School Chad" way: Blitzing the whoops like they're boring.

I am in awe of that pass. Smart, aggressive. Excellent situational awareness. He is truly one of the all time greats of the sport.

Honestly if there is ever a video needed to demonstrate what "shot out of a cannon" means I think Eli's holeshot and first few laps should be the video, it was insane.

Reed was on it too, would have been cool to see him start with Tomac, I don't think anyone else would of been able to run with those two.

I loved Seelys attitude. You cant give KR a hard time one week and let Dungey go by the next.

I agree with you regarding Seely's fire and motivation. I felt Seely was working harder to get in Dungey's way than going forward. As Chad proved, the fast way around a track is racing forward.

And JohnnyPotato.....I agree completely about "shot out of a cannon". Tomac had a line and traction that was unreal compared to what everyone else had.

Reed's not scared to go for it...but he still had things under control even when crossing three or four hard ruts.

Coop and Marvin were going at it, too.

Best race of the season. It was really cool to see the Marv and Webb rivalry again. Bummed for Roczen still but last night showed it's still going to be a competitive season. The top ten guys are all still very close.

Oh yeah! I was stoked! I literally got up out of my chair and yelled at the TV Smile
The problem for everyone else is that Chad knows he can win, and as Carmichael has stated, that's not good for everyone else.
Tomac has awoken too. I can't wait until the next race.

Cooper and Musquinn were KILLING each other's forward momentum... was literally 2015 outdoor battle re-lit, except now the Frenchie wants as much as he can get.

Go to 8.59 on the above video.

Like two laps before the above pass, Reed gets into a different rhythm and jumps to the inside on a proper rutted face.

Looked awesome!

That was great. You could tell Dungey was getting frustrated and riding aggressive.
