Track was one if the coolest I've ever seen, not near as narrow as I previously thought. Might have to make the journey across Kentucky to hit this track sometime. Good job DC, IMO you hit this one out of the park. Really excited to see the new national at Miller motorsports.

It was an awesome track even before it hosted a National, so I wasn't worried about Muddy Creek knocking it out of the park. Having a National in the Southeast was a no brain-er anyway. Now the parking lot track in the windiest part of Utah, I am worried about.

But yes, good job DC!

Thought I heard 22,000. I expected more than that to show up . Oh well, next year it will be 22,001 cuz there's no way I'm gonna miss it.

I agree, as soon as I saw the early track previews I was so pumped. Very similar to High Point, which is a great track. The racing was superb too. Great weekend!!

From the tv, it looks like a beautiful setting for motocross.
Pretty good battles today!

I agree!! Wicked looking track, looked like great spectator viewing in a lot of places too. It's good to see this venue on the schedule.....too bad we lose Southwick :-(

Villopoto sounded like he hated too. He said changes need to be made before the race next year. I thought it was exciting though.

POS track? Whatever, it's always been a top notch facility and the Bomber made some great improvements. These guys need to man up. I'd hate to see their reaction if they had to race on a track like Carlsbad in the late 70's or early 80's.

I think most of the riders would bitch about having to have sex with Kate Upton!

I was there and it looked awesome to me. Hadn't been there since we use to race Top Gun. That step up was huge!

TV didn't do the triple step up any justice, IMO. That freakin' jump was big. I thought the track was hard to pass on and numerous riders stated the same opinion. Glad to have a national back in the SE!!!! Thanks MX Sports.

I don't know what you guys are talking about. That track was sketchy, dry and so full of bumps there wasn't a smooth part in the track. Jumps were sketchy also.

I'm all for being positive but I hated that track.

Hard to question the top rider in the sport. I would trust his opinion over anyone else's and I have to agree with him. It sucked.

Full of bumps makes for a terrible motocross track? Ok... And it didn't look like a dust bowl on tv. There were a couple spots I saw a little dust kicked up, but there needs to be more variance in terrains for the tracks to test the riders skills. Not every tack needs to be loamy with sand mixed in. Gotta give the hardpack guys a chance to showcase their skills. About the jumps? I can't say because I wasn't on the track doing them, but I've ridden on other tracks built by Mark Barnett and the jumps were built to perfection.

Hard to pass on? RV passed a lot of fast guys on it, some 2/3 times. Looked like a great first effort I am sure it will get better.

I think the biggest complaint from RV and CR was the way the track was prepared. Loose stuff(wood chips) on top of hard pack, and over watered to start. And I don't think they were the only guys unhappy with the track. Those two just get attention and are outspoken.

Yeah, WTF was that about? Track looked great in thursday`s pressday video`s and then on saturday it`s like they had a rain for a couple of days.

I was there, the layout was cool, but I will agree the dirt is the same as it always has been, gets very rutted and hard to pick a tire to work right there. Soft on top then hard underneath. As someone stated above, tv didn't do the step up triple any justice at all. I was amazed at how much forward momentum they lost after they hit the take off on that thing. IMO they need lots of sand brought in there and mixed into the clay somehow.

The start there was so much dust you couldn't even see. Granted it was very hot out and I would probably prefer that to being muddy. I just really can't see what others are talking about. The first lap I was like man that track is awful. Granted it was very challenging but it was so rough that it didn't even look fun to ride. The massive amounts of choppy bumps everywhere were zapping the speed from the riders cause bikes were jumping up and down so bad. I just didn't like it personally but that is my opinion and won't argue about it cause others may love it and that's fine because we all have different tastes. Honestly I think the extremely dry and hot weather caused the majority of the conditions. I also didn't like the jumps. That uphill jump had a tiny sketchy landing. Many of the jumps did.

I think my biggest complaint is it just didn't look fun to ride at all.

I am going to watch again though when I get home with a different perspective and see if I feel any different about it.
