Here is how the track looked on Wednesday when I arrived.

Looking down on the starting gate, and the pile of dirt was spread out in turn 1.

This is the corner after the finish line jump.

Looking down the next section after the corner above.

The turn following the straight above.

Leads into this of camber corner

And that takes us to this uphill triple jump.

Coming around that horse area they come back down making a right turn and go down that dark section.

That straight leads in to this back section up behind the starting area

And here is a look where the last area ties back into the starting straight

Now that you are totally confused my job is done...LOL

On RacerX today they were talking about how the owner shipped in 1200 tons of new dirt, which you can tell pretty easily. That stuff looks perfect. As for the width of the track, they can't really change it because of the layout.

Was Musquin running Thor gear? Have I missed something?

Man, I've thought that about every national this year except most of GH!

Seems like they're all in need of about another 30% width!

And a few less sweepers, a few more hairpins!

Rain is in the forecast for Friday and Saturday, could live up to it's name and be the first real mudder of the season.

Hmmm.

So...some parts of the track get the 'new" dirt that appears to be loose and loomy while the rest of the track looks to be a bit baked hard? Hard on the gas then spin out on the old concrete dirt. Interesting, see what happens.

I really like this track. Was there in early June for SE Regional. At high point now for NE regional and I have got to say that I like Muddy Creek much better.

Lucky bastard. Enjoy man. Can't you get Roscoe to wear some pants or at least be a little more modest? As far as ticks go...find enough diesel to wet your hands and give him a good rub. Stinks but it's not enough to aggrivare him but it will keep ticks off.
