The track is on the side of the mountain so it runs off pretty well. It has a couple spots that fill up but I'm sure they will be on those even now. Gonna be a chilly weekend. 61 for a high sat.

I'm going out on a limb and saying Kenny is going to be the mud master with Eli either winning or crashing (the latter more likely)

He's won four straight motos without demonstrating any sign of weakness whatsoever, and your calling for a crash over another win. Get me some of what you're smokin'.

I don't know where this Crashing thing a lot of people claim Tomac is, yes every rider crashes in time but if Eli does it I guess it's all the time.

I was hoping the weather would let up this week, we'll see and hope it does. By Friday if they are calling for rain I am going to have to opt out of going.
My old and broken bones just can't handle it very well anymore.
Ya roczen is a good Mudder but Thundervalley won't be no Indiana if it rains all day.

He's been winning with enough margin that he can crash 3 or 4 times in each moto and still cruise to an easy victory.

But isn't eli from Colorado wouldn't this be his home track? I would think he would ride very well even if the conditions are bad

I remember Pourcel in a mud in Brasil GP in 2012. He beat second place by 1 minute 30 seconds. Lapped up to 8th place. Almost lapped Cairoli and lapped Desalle twice.

While I agree that ride was badass, it was a very different track. You have traction for days in the sand when it's raining.

Dungey had a bad start and hit some obstacles in Indiana and I don't think that ride was typical of what to expect from Dungey on the regular in sloppy conditions. Just needs to get that start figured out better.

Any bigfoot or French journalist sightings lately?

Tomac ain't got no time for that.

Elijah was really never around and racing in central Colorado as he was coming up. So the only thing "home" about Lakewood would be the altitude. In fact, according to Google Maps, the driving distance between Cortez Colorado and Lakewood is almost identical when compared to the distance between Cortez and Miller Motorsports Park.

It sucks for the riders but I want at least one mudfest each season, both SX and MX. Let it rain!

I fully agree. Smile Mud is the great equalizer to an extent. I know it sucks to race in, but a good mudder is as good a race as any!

Now that's a good day in the mud... at least for Pourcel. If it is a mudder this Saturday it should make things interesting. Oh boy, who will come out on top at Thunder Valley? Just can't bring myself to make a prediction. You don't suppose Pourcel could do it again do ya? Half kidding!

Not a big Roczen fan, but I can't deny how he was in the mud at Indiana. He would be my pick for the win.
